Coffee Rails - 1-Sep-2025

Once we ruled the pantry floor,

Mocking meetings, wanting more-

Laughter brewed in mugs and eyes,

Sneaky hugs and alibis.

You’d ask deep stuff out of the blue,

I’d answer like a talk-show crew.

We knew too much, yet played it cool,

Like rebels skipping grown-up school.

One day you ghosted, said “just stress”,

Then coffee breaks turned into guess-

Would she show up or vanish thin,

Like budget hikes or Friday’s gym?

I stayed a fool, kept walking in,

Past the desk where we had grinned.

Even WhatsApp group looks sad,

It misses all the memes we had.

Now here’s a line I thought you’d see -

An old-school ping, low calorie:

No drama, guilt or deep confessions,

Just “hey, remember our sessions?”

If this poem makes you grin,

Maybe next time, check back in -

Not for drinks or long lost tales,

Just one smile near coffee rails. ☕
